Graphic Designer (Illustration Artist)

We are currently looking for an efficient and creative Graphic Designer who has a focus on illustrations. The candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in the field of graphic design and can design and illustrate the brand messaging appropriately.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to create appealing graphics and illustrations in types of media such as online and offline, as well as in advertisements.
• Turn ideas and concepts into good and proper designs which could in some ways depict the company’s goal and logo.
• Scribble on the computer, sketch design programs then develop quality and clear images, layout among other graphics.
• Engage with current trends within this industry and strive to incorporate as many ideal features as possible in designs to make them as relevant as possible.
• Communicate directly with the customer and the rest of the team to gather needs and expectations for a project and then effectively create designs based on the findings.
• Redesigns should be made according to the outcome to attain the objectives set out in the designs.

Requirements

• Education: At least a bachelor’s degree holder in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or any related field.
• Experience:At least five years of employment in the profession related to graphic design and illustration.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of the design programs to include Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign.
• High level of competency in the use of color, typeface, and page organization.
• Possibility to make illustrations both on the computer and by hand.
• Effective oral expression and the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work well under pressure and be organized.
• Capacity to work on many projects simultaneously and within the fixed timelines for production.
• Thinking skills particularly creativity and problem-solving skills.
