We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Front-End Lead Engineer with expertise in the MEAN/MERN stack to lead our front-end engineering team. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications, integrating APIs, and managing database architecture while ensuring seamless deployment on cloud platforms like AWS. This role also requires strong expertise in optimizing application load times, API performance, and client-side data handling, including local storage and cookies.

This position is based in Delhi/NCR or Hyderabad and follows a hybrid work model with a mix of in-office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead the front-end engineering team in developing scalable and maintainable web applications using the MEAN/MERN stack.
• Front-End Development: Build modern, responsive, and high-performance web interfaces with Angular/React, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• API Optimization: Integrate and optimize RESTful APIs to reduce latency, enhance throughput, and ensure scalability under high loads.

• Performance Optimization:

• Optimize application load times by implementing best practices in code splitting, lazy loading, and caching.
• Efficiently manage and optimize local storage and cookies for secure and fast client-side data handling.
• Monitor and improve the performance of web applications using tools like Lighthouse, WebPageTest, and Chrome DevTools.
• Database Architecture: Design and maintain database schemas for both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage web applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS, and other services.
• Version Control: Ensure proper versioning and collaboration through Git workflows.
• Code Quality: Establish and enforce coding standards, perform code reviews, and lead testing strategies.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend developers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools in the MEAN/MERN ecosystem and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Expertise in Angular (latest version) or React for front-end development.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or Bitbucket for version control.
• Experience in integrating and optimizing third-party APIs and SDKs.
• Proven ability to optimize application performance, including load times, API efficiency, and client-side storage mechanisms (local storage, session storage, cookies).

• Experience:

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proven ability to deliver successful projects and lead technical teams.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with serverless architectures.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Expertise in web application performance testing tools (e.g., Lighthouse, WebPageTest).
• Previous experience in a lead engineering role.
