Senior Full Stack Application Developer (MEAN Stack)

The person must be an experienced and self-motivated Senior Full Stack Application Developer with over a 10-year progressive experience in the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and should have a very good proficiency in NestJS. Ideally, the candidate should have no qualms with immediately joining to assist the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of designing, building, and supporting large and efficient applications in MEAN Stack.
• Design and implement powerful cloud-friendly RESTful services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Integrate user-friendly and responsive front-end applications using Angular.
• Heavy emphasis on aspects such as database modeling and querying for MongoDB database system.
• End users need to be involved alongside product designers and developers, to identify, conceptualize and deploy innovations.
• Coaching and training junior developers while maintaining a learning-oriented organizational culture.
• Create, fix, and optimize the existing applications
• Never get left behind on the latest trends, processes, and technologies that apply to software development.
• Engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous deployment processes.

Requirements

• Education: A first degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related field, or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in full stack development and at least five years of experience with the MEAN Stack.

Technical Skills:

• Practical knowledge of Node.js at an expert level as well as NestJS.
• Front-end development through Angular (TypeScript).
• MongoDB database design and optimization should be demonstrated with strong experience.
• Expert in creating RESTful API and integrating APIs into various projects.
• Again, having prior knowledge of Git and other version control systems.
• It will be an added advantage to have a working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or Cloud Platforms.
• Skills and knowledge of Agile software development and integrated continuous development and deployment.

Soft Skills:

• Quick problem-solving skills while at the same being detail-oriented.
• Adaptability and being a good listener and communicator, being able to effectively coordinate between several teams.
• Experience in managing people and previous supervision of junior developers.
• Fluency with flexibility and willingness to work in a highly energetic and fast-growing work context.
